Our Story
Metropolitan Golf Club
Proudly serving golfers since 1895.
Metropolitan Golf Club is one of Cape Town's most historic golf clubs, founded in 1895 on the Green Point Common. Rebuilt in 2010 by architect Mark Muller and nestled in the shadow of Table Mountain and Cape Town Stadium, the club features 18 holes played across 14 world-class Bent Grass greens and 9 Kikuyu fairways in a parkland setting that doubles as a biodiversity showcase.
